Daily Itinerary
DAY 01
Arrival in Lisbon
Arrive at Lisbon Airport and check in at the Crowne Plaza Caparica Lisbon (an optional 9- or 18-hole round may be available in the afternoon), followed by a welcome dinner at the hotel.
DAY 02
First Round
Play your first round at PGA Aroeira N1 (15 minutes from the hotel). The rest of the day is free.
DAY 03
Second Round
Play your second round at Oitavos Dunes (one of Portugal's top five courses, 45 minutes from the hotel). The evening is free.
DAY 04
A Full Day in Lisbon
Spend the day sightseeing in Lisbon. The evening is free.
DAY 05
To Comporta + Third Round
Check out of the Crowne Plaza and play your third round at Comporta Torre (one of Portugal's top five courses, 1 hour 15 minutes away). Later, check in at Hotel Santiago and dine at the hotel restaurant.
DAY 06
Fourth Round
Play your fourth round at Comporta Dunes (Portugal's No. 1 course, 35 minutes from the hotel). The evening is free.
DAY 07
On to the Algarve + Free Day
Check out of Hotel Santiago by noon and enjoy a free day. Later, transfer to the Algarve and check in at The Patio Suite Hotel. Dinner is at the hotel restaurant.
DAY 08
Fifth Round
Play your fifth round at Amendoeira Faldo (20 minutes from the hotel). The evening is free.
DAY 09
Sixth Round
Play your sixth round at Vilamoura Old Course (one of Portugal's top five courses, 10 minutes from the hotel). The evening is free.
DAY 10
Departure
Check out and transfer to Faro or Seville airports for your flight home. (An optional 9- or 18-hole round may be available in the morning.)

This was my first golf trip, and I was worried my game would hold the group back, but everyone was friendly and the hotels and meals were better than expected. My only small suggestion is that the drives during the two Algarve days were a little long.

The 10-day itinerary ran like clockwork, and each of the six courses had its own character. Comporta Dunes truly lives up to its reputation. Our tour leader was with us every step of the way and even handled the cart reservations, so we never had to worry about a thing.
